Miraculous Mulungu!

This beautiful tree has been used for centuries for a wide variety of purposes, including pain relief, to treat insomnia and promote healthy sleeping patterns, to lower blood pressure, and to treat conditions like depression, anxiety, and even epileptic seizures.  More recently, Mulungu has been studied for its potential anti inflammatory properties.

Mulungu is a branched tree native to the rain forest area of South America including parts of Brazil and Peru. Reaching heights of 30 to 40 feet, it is sometimes called the "Coral Tree", due to the lovely hue of its flowers.

Traditionally, the bark of this tree, (and sometimes even the leaves), are  harvested and then used to make tea or tincture.
