Mulungu Bark
(Erythrina mulungu)
|
Mulungu is a branched tree native to the rain forest area of South America including parts of Brazil and Peru. Reaching heights of 30 to 40 feet, it is sometimes called the "Coral Tree", due to the lovely hue of its flowers. Traditionally, the bark of this tree, (and sometimes even the leaves), are harvested and then used to make tea or tincture. |
